Dogwood, leather mask

So this is the first mask with the new Wickett and Craig leather. It is really different to work with. The back is amazingly smooth. It actually seems a little more difficult to cut, but once cut it tools with a lot of dimension. I think I like it. I'll have to get some thicker weight next time so that I can play with really deep carving. For this mask, I just drew the dogwoods directly on the leather with a charcoal pencil and then carved them and shaped the mask.
